In response to the many requests from people who own dogs that frequented the beaches of the municipality, the City Council has decided to have three defined points along the coast for this purpose.
Three areas are further separated by a considerable distance.
The chosen places are usually rack and unpopular occupation among bathers.
The exact points that can already be consulted on guidance that the Department of Coastal Services just released are: Playa de las Cobaticas (between Bolnuevo and Percheles) beach Sierra de Las Moreras (next to the boulevard) and beach Gachero (between El Alamillo and Rihuete).
The municipal initiative has been received with great interest.
The municipality joins others in the Spanish coast that already offer these services.
Using these beaches with pets requires compliance with rules of conduct: Potentially dangerous dogs must be muzzled, the owners are obliged to collect the droppings and deposit them in the trash can and must carry documentation of the animal in order.
The breach of the rules of conduct could be a fine which can range from 750 to 3000 euros, according to the ordinance of animal husbandry.
The beach is a natural beach Cobaticas between Bolnuevo and Percheles, which remain difficult to access has an extraordinary beauty.
Its dimensions are a kilometer long and 30 meters wide and sandy soil is interspersed with boulders and gravel.
The beach Sierra de Las Moreras has approximate dimensions of 500 meters long by 60 meters wide and has a nice golden soil and coarse sand.
While the Gachero is an urban and stony beach that combines the hard sand with boulders.
