Marist Basketball Club Murcia last weekend was proclaimed in Mazarrón regional champion after winning the final by CB Capuchins also Murcia.

With this victory, the champion team to ascend to First National Division.

The awards ceremony was chaired by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Garcia, accompanied by Councilman Services, Juan Miguel Munoz.

The home team, the CB Basket Mazarrón Bay was ranked in fourth place after playing a hard-fought semifinal with CB Capuchins.

Mazarron stood at the gates of the final after falling by just six points difference (78-84).

In the fight for third and fourth place Basket Bay lost by the same score difference, this time with the Alhama (74-80).
