The Coopers Square Puerto de Mazarrón became Sunday in a solidarity meeting point.
Hundreds of people decided to collaborate with the local board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) and the municipality dozen hairdressers who wanted to join the "Court Solidario" initiative.
For only 5 euros, they could cut their hair and donate their contribution to help patients with this disease.
Finally they managed to collected 1405 euros which will go to people suffering from cancer and response to the needs they may have, as confirmed by the president of the local board, Luisa María Heredia.
They also managed to meet a 40 manes that Iran intended to use in making wigs for women suffering from the effects of chemotherapy treatments.
Present in this act of solidarity would be the Mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jimenez, who congratulated the local board of the AECC by "the work and dedication that they occupied" and also highlighted the collaboration of hairdressers who have participated in the project .
Luisa María Heredia ahead of other upcoming events that will organize the Local Board of Mazarrón as are the beneficial musical of August which will be entitled "The Feast of Joy" and Weeks for Life, a series of conferences on oncology , feeding during illness and positive thinking to be developed in Mazarrón during the month of October.
