The International University of the Sea through its headquarters in Mazarrón extension scheduled for next week summer course entitled "Environmental Education and Design Underwater itineraries to know and conserve the marine".
It will be held from 14 to 17 July in the auditorium of the Cultural Center of Mazarrón.
It will last 30 hours and is aimed at teachers, environmental educators, students and graduates, technical administration of the natural environment and anyone interested in environmental education in the marine environment.
It will provide free credits and ECTS.

The course is led by Jose Antonio Garcia Charton, professor of ecology at the University of Murcia and is coordinated by biologists Pina Sara Montoya and Virginia.
The course program includes an internship at a point on the coast of the municipality and its objectives are:

To publicize the values ​​and problems of the marine environment as a starting point for addressing environmental education programs.

Show different experiences of environmental education projects related to the marine environment.

Introduce the different tools provided environmental education to foster knowledge of the marine environment and participate in conservation.

Analyze existing resources and equipment to develop environmental education activities related to the marine environment.

To present the guidelines for the design of an underwater itinerary
