Recently the Center Municipal Initiatives Employment (CIME) on the Avenida de la Constitución (VHS) has hosted another meeting of work for the Youth Guarantee Program.
This time it was between technicians of the municipalities of Mazarron and Aguilas.
In it he participated the Mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jimenez and Councillors of Employment and Youth, Maria Angeles and Patricio Sánchez Román.
Also they attended by representatives of business associations, handicapped, adult education, Red Cross members, technicians and technical SEF Employment, Local Development and Youth of both municipalities.
During the meeting the need for young people under 25 who are unemployed or just formal education, enroll in the system Youth Guarantee to qualify for job training and agreed deals.
The various actions undertaken by both municipalities for the development of the program were also analyzed: activation workshops, lectures in secondary schools, designing individual pathways to integration ...
Besides the training needs of the municipality and the need for greater collaboration between institutions at the table they were studied in order to share information and resources for young people.
The next meeting will be held at Eagles during the month of October.
Mazarrón City Council, in collaboration with the SEF, various actions designed to enhance the employability of young people:
Workshop Active: To encourage the initiative in developing their professional life project.
Choose workshop: To define career goals.
Interview workshop: To train in how to address and overcome business selection processes.
Workshop Job Search Resources: To learn to use other tools: resume, job boards, web pages ...
Complementary activities: orientation workshops in nature, tourist routes, volunteering and hiking.
