As every year fishermen and residents of Puerto de Mazarrón pay homage to the Virgen del Carmen.
At 18 hours on Thursday, the Fish Market houses the fishing port Mass in honor of the "Star of the Sea" by the pastor of the Church of San José, Justo José Sánchez.
The event will, with the traditional presence of civil and military authorities.
Subsequently, as is tradition the image of the Virgen del Carmen procession will in marine waters of the Bay of Mazarrón.
This year the boat has the honor of carrying the patron is the "Five Brothers II".
During the course of the procession will pay tribute to the deceased fishermen.
Back in port, the Virgen del Carmen will be shouldered by the fishermen to the church of San José.
Previously, it will be the usual stop at the gates of the headquarters of the Fishermen's Association.
Thousands of people enjoy every year of this popular religious act.
