The Department of Infrastructure and Services City of Mazarrón come these days to the repair and improvement of the paving of the town of Puerto de Mazarrón.
Initially, the works focus on the environment of the church of San José and the Central Bus Station and Market Square.
Works include 4,092 square meters of asphalt spread over the Poet Lobo, Angel, poet Josefa Lorente, Virgen de la Fuensanta, Sierra de Alcaraz, Sierra de Algarrobo, Sierra Cazorla and Avenida Doctor Meca streets.
Furthermore, we proceed to the installation of 180 square meters new tile.
The action responds to the need to improve the image of the town.
"The deterioration in some busy areas has led to act immediately, while still in high season, so the City Council would like to apologize to residents and tourists for the inconvenience that may cause the work of operators," he says the Mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jimenez.
The works were tendered and awarded by the lowest bid, the company Construcciones Francisco Coy SL worth 42,225 euros.
