The beaches of Mazarrón have this summer with new acquisitions that enhance its use and access of those who have reduced mobility.
The Department of Coastal Services has enabled three walkers available on the beaches of Harbour Island and Board of the Seas.
They are perfect to scroll through the sand and allow its users greater movement being able to bring to the shore to watch the sea and feel the breeze.
These same beaches also have amphibious chairs, elements of vital importance as they allow these people the bathroom.
The beach of Puerto de Mazarrón was recently chosen as one of the most accessible in Europe.
Among its special features is an area of ​​special bath for the elderly and people with impaired mobility, with a previous access gateway and bath seats.
Mazarrón has this summer with fifteen flags that highlight the quality of its beaches.
Seven blue flags (Rihuete, Harbour, Bay-La Reya, Nares, Castellar, Alamillo and El Mojon), six flags with the recognition of tourism quality Q (Bahia, Bolnuevo, Junta de los Mares, Nares, Castellar and Rihuete) and two flags Ecoplayas in Castellar and Rihuete.
