Three young poets Thursday opened the first recital "Mar de Letras" organized by the Department of Education within a framework of great beauty as is the viewpoint of Bahia "Agustin Lopez Cano".

Each of the participants read six poems based on personal experiences and own impressions of the reality around us.
About a hundred people enjoyed interventions sound swell in a quiet and inspiring atmosphere.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jimenez and councilors of Education and Culture, Patricio Sánchez and Pedro Martinez.
The Mayor stressed the importance of youth to accommodate local authors and praised the potential of the viewpoint of Bahia to host cultural events.
Alicia Jimenez used his speech to remind the common responsibility to maintain public spaces in good condition and denounced the repeated damage suffered by this place because of vandalism.
Marina Alcolea and Maria Sanchez were awarded during the month of February in the third edition of the poetry contest "Declare Yourself" organized by the City of Mazarrón.
Maria Sanchez won the first prize for the work presented under the title "Naked" and Marina Alcolea won third prize for "But".
Javier Hervas was a finalist in that edition of "Declare" and regularly participates, along with Marina Alcolea and Maria Sanchez, in the readings that houses the cafeteria Ithaca Murcia.
Javier Hervás and Maria Sanchez recently recited at the Ramón Gaya Museum in commemoration of the work of the poet Ibn Arabi.
