The Department of Services City of Mazarrón takes place these days cleaning gutters and sewers of the town streets as a precaution against a possible flood with the arrival of the first rains of late summer and early autumn.
Specifically, municipal operators are focusing on points where the risk of water accumulation.
Management work in the Bay Area Via Axial Square Coopers and former Office of Tourism of Puerto de Mazarrón.
The actions extend to other parts of town and are repeated continuously as stated Blas Rojo, responsible for services.
"These areas in early July, mid-July and now in late August and early September were cleaned".
Another of the points where these days is working municipal workers in annexes land for RM-D4.
"About eight years ago we devised a system for channeling water down mines not flood the road and decided to make a ridge of land to redirect the water to a sewer located about 200 meters," recalls the Red Blas system used to avoid cutting the road flooding.
These days a backhoe land ridges replenished artificially constructed.
Municipal workers will continue with this work throughout this month and will extend its operations to other parts of town.
