The Youth Council of the City of Mazarrón makes a very positive assessment of the activities organized within the program "Summer Youth" which in turn serves to complement the tourism activities organized by the municipality during the summer.

According to the organizers there has been a massive participation in all activities, exceeding initial expectations.

During the month of August, four whale watching tours were offered by the Bay of Mazarrón, four Segway tours of the town beaches and two dives in the sea with theoretical and practical sessions.

80% of users spent their holidays in Mazarrón, thus obtaining more an offer for leisure during their stay in the city.
