200 students of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena show from Wednesday the final conclusions have been reached in each of its educational project encompassed within the ArquitecturaON studies initiated in October 2014 and awarded the Special Prize disclosure during the eighteenth Architecture Awards of the Region of Murcia.
Throughout the course of twelve teachers guided students grade eight subjects Architecture Mazarrón analyzed in order to provide ideas for urban renewal.
After visiting the town on several occasions and upon completion of his studies comes time to project the outcome.
For this we have scheduled a workshop course shaped festival under the title On Summer to be held between 24 and 27 September.
The presentation takes place on Thursday at 18:00 in the Cultural Centre.
The workshop focuses on communication and sharing of the results of ongoing innovation project in the UPCT born and which has the support of the City of Mazarrón.
From architecture ON it seeks to establish a collective conversation (students, teachers, society) on the fact of the Project, with the aim of strengthening the university-society connection through architecture.
The dialectical method will allow the confrontation of urban and social knowledge in the framework of conflict Architecture.
With this premise appears this workshop as a summer course in order to take to the streets reflections and projects and to inform citizens all the work done during the course and raise awareness of the problems and opportunities their territory
The workshop will follow a schedule given by guest tutors (espheras maker, Bernat Ivars Aranea group) which will guide the workshop to a perceptual results as drifts over the territory, participatory discussion tables, redrawn and work exposure Urban projects and actions to promote the participation of the residents, who express directly and in a language that can be read in a natural and intuitive way, conclusions and derivative works of course, in public spaces and include the participation of vecinos.La methodology and the dynamics of the workshop will focus on the analysis and understanding of the territory and the contexts of the projects, recognizing places and routes generated a territorial-social relationship, all with the drawing, the image and work audiovisual base and tool.
