The Yacht Club of Mazarrón in collaboration with the City and Regional Sailing Federation organized this weekend's V Mazarrón Bay Regatta.
A scoring for the regional championship R1 Cruise bringing together thirty test vessels.
The competition will take place on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October at 12:00 and 11:00 respectively running in next points to the coast from La Azohía the Yacht Club.
The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday at 15:00 hours at the Yacht Club.
This was announced on Wednesday morning Councilman Sports City of Mazarrón, Patricio Sánchez, who has encouraged water sports lovers to come to the town and enjoy an activity of interest in a place of great beauty such as the Bay of Mazarrón.
A sports event bringing together the best crews in the Region of Murcia and Alicante, as highlighted by coach Juan Pedro Pérez-Castejon, who also notes that "some participants have shone this year in Cup King shadowing professional crews. "
Of the participants, the club with the largest will be the Royal Yacht Club of Cartagena, the Nautical Club of Eagle displacing entire fleet as well as the most important boats of the Mar Menor and Torrevieja.
The tests will be combined with musical performances and other leisure activities as highlighted Pedro Martinez, member of the Yacht Club.
Saturday at 21:00 hours there will be a barbecue and a concert and Sunday will be invited to tasting a paella for all attendees.
