The writer Emilio Calderon on Thursday held a meeting with readers at the Cultural Center.
The author of successful novels as "The Jew of Shanghai", for which he received in 2008 the Fernando Lara Novel Prize, I was accompanied by the Councillor for Education, Patricio Sánchez, who appreciated its presence in Mazarrón.
The audience that attended the Cultural Center was a true reflection of the reader of this author profile.
Youth and adults attended forward their literary experiences focused on two different stages: the first dedicated to children's literature and posterior in which it decided to start publishing novels for adults.
Calderon prior contact with the local press announced that plans to rewrite juvenile literature, after quitting in 2006.
Emilio Calderon is a historian, editor and writer.
He born in Malaga in 1960 and 30 years living in Madrid.
Much of his journey as a writer devoted to children's literature.
He is the author of works such as "Romeo without Juliet," "The last crime of Pompei" and "closed room".
In 2006 his first novel for adults was published, "The map of the creator" international success, published in 23 countries.
It has links with Murcia thanks to his wife, originally from Lorca and Mazarrón driving in a reading animation workshop.
