The Virgen del Milagro is already in Mazarrón.
At 09:30 hours on Sunday started from the chapel of Bolnuevo accompanied by hundreds of faithful.
Before the start of the popular rise, it has held a minute of silence in mourning for the victims of the attacks in Paris.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, has accompanied the image for the traditional route, later for the throne in the Garden of the Immaculate Mazarrón along with the other authorities.
In procession, the Virgin of the Miracle was taken to the Church of the Immaculate, where, as tradition dictates, it will remain one week until his return in procession to the chapel of Bolnuevo.
The new pastor of San Antonio and San Andrés, Francisco José Hernández, has also made the journey together to the Virgin of the Miracle.
Later he officiated the Holy Mass with the faithful Mazarron receiving the image in the Church of the Immaculate, where traditional songs of the members of the Association Virgen del Milagro have taken place.
At the end of the church service, there has been a meal organized in the tent city of Bolnuevo, organized by the Association Virgen del Milagro.
At 19:00, in the Church of San Andres de Mazarrón he has officiated a Mass.
On Tuesday 17 at 12:00 pm in the Church of the Immaculate will be held solemn Mass to commemorate the miracle.
During the course of this religious event, the mayor renew the vow to the Immaculate Conception.
In the afternoon, at 17:00 will be the traditional offering of flowers.
The procession will start from the hospice where food donation takes place.
Each donation will be appreciated with a flower that will later at the foot of the Immaculate are placed in the sanctuary.
The collected food will be distributed to needy families in Mazarrón, thanks to the collaboration of Caritas.
The Miracle Day celebrations end with a Mass at 19:00 at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
At the end there will be the blessing and distribution of oil and subsequent Virgin procession with the statue, visiting the churches of San Andrés and San Antonio.
