Mazarrón Europeans opt to receive for the implementation of a project for sustainable urban development that could reshape the town in the coming years funds.

For this, the Department of Local Development has launched a roadmap that seeks citizen participation in order to achieve a strategy that results in an improvement of the infrastructure and services provided by the municipality.

Thursday November 26, at 20:00, there convened a meeting of civic participation framed within this program called Project DUSI (Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development).

The Ministry of Finance and Public Administration makes a new call for aid from European FEDER funds covering 2020. The call is aimed at sustainable growth of towns and regions of the EU public.

Mazarrón chooses to be selected to develop one of the six strategies that will probably be selected in the region of Murcia and aspiring municipalities with more than 20,000 inhabitants.

The City Council wants to involve its neighbors in this project and has therefore created a citizen participation initiative implementation through a visible banner on the municipal website

Also, since the council are being held various meetings with the various municipal technicians to test the local reality and analyzing the information provided.

In addition, technicians Technology Center for Energy and Environment (CETENMA), business association nonprofit, they provide the results of their studies and research that will help better define the strategy to develop from Mazarrón.
