Mazarron Tuesday celebrated the day of their patron saint, the Immaculate Conception.
The events began in a hospice with a Mass in which the traditional offering of Red Cross in Mazarrón sum already 117 years of service took place.
Later, at noon, there was the solemn Mass at the Shrine of the Immaculate celebrated by the parish priest of San Andrés and San Antonio Francisco Jose Fernandez.
During the Holy Eucharist took place in the church choir performance and interpretation of the Mass Mazarron, piece composed for over half a century by the neighboring Juan de la Cruz and Antonio Saura.
In the afternoon and after Mass the expected and traditional procession was held with the image of the Patroness of all Mazarron.
The procession started from the sanctuary and was opened by the Band of Bugles and Drums of Mazarrón.
He was followed by the Association of the Virgin Birth, the banner of La Purisima and most mayors and mayors of the town headman hachotes bearing the names of their districts, as sign of unity of the entire people with its patron.
In the procession also they procesionaron the Queen of the Festival, Fatima Justice and the bridesmaids and the Child Queen, Eva Alarcón.
After the throne, decorated for the occasion, they marched religious and civil authorities with the mayor, Alicia Jimenez, the councilors of the government team and the other councilors of the municipal corporation
The Band of Mazarrón did not miss this religious event, playing chords beautiful musical pieces to the event.
