Late last year, the IES Antonio Hellín of Puerto de Mazarrón received approval from the European ERASMUS + project which involves the grant of a series of mobility and training courses for teachers of the center.
This project was released Thursday by the director of IES Antonio Hellin, Carlos Corvalan and by professors Maria del Carmen Ruiz and Maria Victoria Machota you who have detailed the mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jimenez, the details of a project, written at school, who received the highest score in the region of Murcia and the thirteenth in Spain.
With an endowment of 19,161 euros, the project began to walk in it since July.
The duration is until 2016, but its leaders hope the results will let see in the following courses.
To date, several teachers have done training placements in Dublin (Ireland) to improve the communicative competence in English, and Laugarvatn (Iceland) to upgrade its educational and methodological competence.
In the coming months, also an observation period of good teaching practices in a secondary school education in Denmark will be made, and a course on the Finnish education system in Helsinki.
This project is already seeing the first fruits in the IES Antonio Hellín of Puerto de Mazarrón Thus, in November, coinciding with the festival of Halloween, a day of immersion in English during which all activities such as the language had held language.
