Mazarron hamlet of Las Balsicas held on Sunday December 27 its festivities.
At 12:00 pm it takes place in the chapel, holding a Mass with singing Easter.
Then it gives way to the "braying" traditional interpretation and cante bid.
At 14:30, giant paella for all attendees and 18 hours, on the premises of the shrine, a popular festival with entertainment by David Andreu.
The "braying" Las Balsicas follow a tradition of over two centuries of history and stem from the construction of the small chapel in honor of the Immaculate Conception.
It was then, when the donkeys, which were the main elements of transport, materials had to climb to the top of the hill where it was would find the hermitage.
All they finished exhausted but one that, according to neighborhood witnesses, frolicked and brayed incessantly.
