During the last month of December it has held the pavement strengthening on a stretch of Avenida del Castellar, the closest to the bridge of the avenue of mulberry trees.
This area had points to a significant deterioration of its surface characteristics, both because of the traffic intensity as supporting the timely accumulation of water.
The action covers a length of 450 meters and an area of ​​5,750 square meters.
The works have included extended a layer of asphalt and have completed the replacement and improvement of horizontal signaling pathway.
They have involved an investment of 50,000 euros.
The repaired section provides access to Puerto de Mazarrón from the RM-D6, one widely used by thousands of residents and visitors, via to which must be added a notable increase in traffic in high season.
