On Sunday 25 May over 230 people and 20 teams registered will ensure the success of the Intercultural Carrera II, to be held at the Paseo del Rihuete, and which come into play such important values as the integration and solidarity.
From 9:30 am will enable an entertainment area, which may turn the participants and onlookers of this initiative.
The most anticipated moment will take place at 10:30 and 11:00 am with races for children and adults, respectively.
This is more than seven hours of activities, culminating with the traditional awards and a multicultural food will be attended by more than nine citizens of different nationalities.
During the presentation of the second edition of this race, the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, with the President of Proexport, Miguel Durán Granados, Councillor for Social Policy, Yolanda Vivancos, and the Head of Immigration and Social Action Proexport, José Ramon Carrasco, have addressed the most significant sporting event in which critical values are merged as tolerance and coexistence.
In the race has established four different categories: men's singles, women's singles, teams and equipment companies NGO's, the last two being novelty.
The first three posts in each category will receive prizes, as well as teams with more participants, more cultural diversity and the more sporting spirit.
All participants will receive a medal and a shirt as a souvenir of their passage through multicultural sporting event.
Mazarrón City Council through the Department of Social Policy has worked with a grant of 6,000 euros and the entire infrastructure of the Department of Services, Local Police and the Department of Civil Protection in Intercultural Carrera II, organized and promoted by the Association Producers - Exporters of Fruits and Vegetables in the Region of Murcia (Proexport) and its affiliates.
