This morning the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, the Town Planning Councillor, José Antonio Román, and the municipal architect, Pepa Diaz, presented the 'Comprehensive Rehabilitation Area' for the housing of the municipality with more than 15 years.
The restoration of the facade, renovation of roofs and accessibility of housing are some of the actions included in this project, which citizens may obtain assistance 80 per cent of the budget for the rehabilitation of their homes.
The initial aim is to create a list of buildings and houses whose owners, once informed of the requirements and assistance involved in this project, are willing to improve living conditions and health of the houses.
The City Council has set up an office for citizens to discuss their doubts on the ground floor of the Town Planning Department to which interested residents can attend to their proposals.
A technician of the Autonomous Region will attend on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 to 13:00, the information may also be sought on mobile 968 33 93 85 968 590 012.
