The next 12 and July 13 will be held for the first time the 'Mazarrón Windsurfing Festival 2008', a sporting event, organized by the Club de Regatas de Mazarrón in collaboration with the Department of Sports City of Mazarrón, hosting long tests distance, freestyle, wave and slalom at the beach Alamillo.

This event was created by the initiative of a group of windsurfers in the Region of Murcia, with the support and collaboration of the Sailing Federation of the Region of Murcia, has succeeded in fostering the development of these tests at strategic points of the coast of Murcia.

Finally, the 'Mazarrón Windsurf Festival' will take place on the beach Alamillo, since its implementation, the organizers have taken into account the thermal wind forecasts called "jaloque."
