This morning, the Councillor of the Presidency, Alicia Jimenez, and the Head of Aqualia in the municipality, Rafael Plaza, have handed the prizes to the sixth edition of "Drawing Competition", organized by Aqualia occasion of World Water Day, in the Meeting Room of Town Hall.
The singles finalists was the Mazarron Adriana Ortega, who has been rewarded with a digital camera in recognition of the quality and creativity of the design presented.
Also, the Public School Ginés García Martínez, represented by its Director Pedro Jesus Palazón, has won in the collective category, receiving a computer and a printer.
The event, which this year carries the theme "Water, my world and my colors' has been a success because it has received in total more than 32,000 drawings in Spain and Italy, where Aqualia held for the first time the contest .
The City of Mazarrón and Aqualia thank all participating children's creativity and effort and report to further develop such initiatives to spread the sense of responsibility to the whole society must be developed regarding water use through more youth.
