The Ministry of Works, Housing and Transport has released a public display strategic noise map to measure the noise that exists in the N-332, regional ownership, as it passes through Mazarrón.
The road section studied extends from the beginning of the road in the town on the border with Lorca until it passes through the town of Puerto de Mazarron, whose traffic is more than six million vehicles per year, being one of the higher intensity of traffic on Highway Network in the Region of Murcia, at the Directorate General for Transport and Highways considered necessary to perform this analysis.
The objective of the noise map is the implementation of a plan of action to reduce noise pollution in the area through a series of specific remedial measures.
In addition, the study will make an overall assessment of exposure to this pollution and make a list of general predictions for the segment analyzed.

According to Director General of Transport and Highways, Carmen Sandoval, "performances like this, aimed at the prevention of noise, are what make us anticipate the problems of our way to give them the best and fastest response, by providing citizens every effort by the regional government. "
Sandoval said that "once the results obtained in the study, and depending on the needs detected, we will consider the possibility of developing an action plan to reduce the decibels on the road, if it finally becomes necessary."
