The residents of the hamlet of La Majada Mazarron have fired their holidays with leisure activities and devotees.
Proof of this is the Mass and procession in honor of the Virgen de la Purisima, whose event has gathered over two hundred people.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Councillor for Fiestas, Luisa María Heredia, with Services councilors, Salvador Ardil, Education, Concepción Ballesta, Sports, Francisco Antonio Raja and crew, Miguel Ballesta, have not hesitated to accompany the locals in this very special day.
More than a week of activities in which there have been competitions in various games such as anise, the barter, bocce, soccer, bingo, the brisca, Parcheesi and the porker.
The representation of a play, karaoke, mobile disco, the display of model aircraft, the piñata, tasting sandwiches and Martini Party are some of the activities that have received the greatest number of young people.
Games such as gymkhana, water balloons and paint-ball, and the giant paella tasting combined with baking contests, music, the crumbs, the costume and the car-crazy are other proposals which residents of this hamlet and the rest of Mazarron have enjoyed.
At night they have developed the typical musical festivals with the group 'New Sound' and 'Playas de Alicante' election of Miss and Mister the flock.
This myriad of activities, organized by the Department of Mazarron Fiestas del Ayuntamiento, has been sealed with a fireworks display has been the delight of all attendees.
