The next Monday, September 22, will begin the first 'Self-Defense Course' designed for all women working in the City that wish to strengthen its security against any emergency.
The objectives are to foster self-confidence of women to break the myth of the weak link in society and know address this issue in the case that at some point in their lives may suffer a possible aggression.
Therefore, this course offers a series of precautionary guidelines to act against potential aggressors.
The course, which will last two months, imparted by experts in the field, in particular, a prison official, a policeman and a psychologist.
The days which will run this course, designed to enhance the welfare and safety of women, will be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 20:30 to 21:30 h.
