This 34 year old Argentinian artist presents his latest creation to coincide with its twentieth birthday in the art world.
Mark Faccio, born and educated in Buenos Aires, his first exhibition in 1989 at the Teatro Colon in Punta Alta, his hometown.
In 1990 he began his individual as an artist, alternating exhibitions in various countries such as Mexico, Costa Rica and Italy.
In 1998 taught painting workshops in the city of Coronel Rosales de Buenos Aires and directs and coordinates the exhibitions that are organized in this place, while designing a mural half of the Cross, being declared as the work of Artistic Heritage puntalense.
In the late nineties he moved to Spain and after a year's stay in our country back to Argentina where he selected an engraving of its responsibility in the Mini Hall of Print in Kanagawa, Japan.
For nine years living in the city of Valencia, where he exhibited individually, a task that alternates with exhibits for the various populations of the Region of Murcia.
In his work has always been the human figure as the center of content, expressing their creativity through muscles, tendons and bones.
His pictorial series, "Washing sentimental" seeks to replace folds and stacks of clothing under strict aesthetic look, sorted by renouncing the act of dressing and comfortably retain their tissue subject to a creative support as if it were still lifes or portraits to set up a dozen paintings, painted in oil on canvas, where the large format prevails.
Similarly and as a complement to his painting, Mark Faccio also presents a "performance", "The banks of pleasure", an artistic recreation that brings together photographs, literary texts, paintings and drawings in a space intervened, so the artist interacts with the audience, involving them with their ideas and their reasoning.
