Competition rules] | The Council organizes a competition to choose popular holiday lineup this year |
The Consistory of Mazarrón has organized for the second year running a contest for the cover of the feasts of the Immaculate, Patroness of Mazarrón.
The winning design will, in turn, as a poster for the holidays and receive a cash prize of 600 euros, to be presented during the poster presentation ceremony to the media.
The technique and the colors to use are left to the choice of the author and should be a poster with pictures, landscapes, characters, motives or actions representative of the municipality.
The delivery period will remain open until 20 October and may deposit their works in the Department of Fiestas del Ayuntamiento de Mazarrón.
The jury will consist of the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, the Councillor for Fiestas, Luisa María Heredia and will include multidisciplinary experts.
This initiative, launched by the City Council, is a way to encourage participation of all groups in the festivities of the municipality.
The works, once past a digital format, will be posted on the municipal website, which will start a voting system 'on line' through which the Mazarron can vote for the designs presented, using a rating scale 1 to 5.
