More than twenty German and Spanish students linked to the Comenius European Project on Tuesday visited the town of Mazarrón.
The German students have come from Rottenburg am Neckar, particularly from Zweiter Institute Gymnasium, and the Spanish from the Institute of Secondary Salvador Sandoval of Las Torres de Cotillas.
Both schools have partnered to develop a 'European Bilateral Project' which will run until July 2010.
The project, part of the 'European Programme Comenius' called 'Climate change: sun and water', aims to obtain a high percentage of renewable energy, particularly solar energy, energy saving and pollutants contribute to alleviating the consequences of climate change .
Mazarrón teachers have chosen as an ideal tourist destination for the day, where they have been able to show students the many possibilities offered by the water system.
Therefore, students have visited a horticultural company Mazarrón, which have gone into the recovery system and water use.
Moreover, young people also visited the Desalination 'Virgin of Miracles' and mining Coto Perula.
Also, the visit to the town, led by Juan Sanchez Calventus, has also had routes to the most emblematic of the town such as Bolnuevo Erosions, beaches, mines, the Town Hall and the Auditorium 'Marquesa de Los Vélez '.
