The member of the Fishing Club of Puerto de Mazarrón, Juan Canovas Miras, recently won the World Fishing Championship, held recently in Castelldefels (Barcelona).
In the same competition also has positioned itself as champion of Spain and the fourth team in the world in the individual classification.

It should be pointed her latest entries in the Championship of Spain in the form of Sea Coast in the category U - 21, held on the beaches of Guardamar (Alicante), in which the athlete placed seventh in the overall standings and medal team gold.
This achievement led him to maintain his ranking in the National High Performance Team of the Spanish Federation of Fisheries.
Juan Cánovas participated in the rally's National High Performance Group from 3 to October 5 for the preparation of the World Cup held in Castelldefels from 7 to 14 October.
