This weekend the City of Mazarrón and the Association of Early Intervention in the Region of Murcia have been held Atempo 'XIII Regional Early Childhood Conference' at Hotel La Cumbre Puerto de Mazarrón, in order to discuss the new challenges and procedures relating to early childhood.
The opening ceremony of the Conference on Friday afternoon was chaired by the Councillor for Social Policy, Women, Seniors, People with disabilities and Immigration of the City of Mazarrón, Yolanda Vivancos, along with Director General of People with Disabilities of IMAS Autonomous Community, María del Socorro Morente.
After the opening ceremony, the rapporteur Salvador Martínez, University Miguel Hernández de Elche, spoke on "New contributions of neuroscience to early childhood."
On Saturday morning, the rapporteur Juan Rafael Pérez Aguilera, Hospital Universitario Virgen de la Arrixaca de Murcia, gave the lecture "cochlear implant", which followed the workshop "New Technologies in Early Intervention," directed by Manuel Gómez Good Shepherd College of Cieza.
Following the completion of this workshop, Atempo Association held its General Assembly of Members, and the other participants in the conference who were not partners, the City organized a tour around the town.
On Saturday afternoon, the conference focused on Team Development Center and Early Childhood "Dr.
Miguel de Linares Pezzi "Malaga, entitled" multisensory room: Applications for Early Childhood ", after which held a panel discussion among all participants in the course.
The organization of these meetings have served to establish a forum for dialogue and knowledge sharing among professionals in early childhood, since the main objective of the organizers, Atempo and the town of Mazarrón, has been promoting the development of people working with children requiring early childhood intervention.
