A total of fifteen new local police officers took office yesterday in the Meeting Room of Town Hall.
The event was chaired by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and were also present Councillor for Citizen Security, Segundo Muñoz, the Secretary General of the City, María Mercedes Gómez, and the Chief of Police Sergeant City Council Local Mazarrón, Gerardo Marín.
These new troops began their practice fifteen in February this year at the local police academy in the region, where they spent two months and then continued his training by practice with his fellow veterans from Mazarrón.
Izquierdo Andrés Cánovas, Pedro Bruno González, Pedro José López Navarro, Francisco David Oliver Munuera, Pedro José Sánchez Marín, Juan García López, Blas Canovas Vivancos, Alejandro López Laencina Sigismund Ors Ballesta, Alfonso Noguera Diaz, Antonio Enrique Ibáñez Palomo, Adolfo Smiley Celdran, Alberto Delgado González, Antonio Javier Hernandez Oliver and David Muñoz Luengo are the new additions to the workforce of the local police of the municipality.
This is the promotion of local police has been larger than the town will allow a better service and quality for citizens.
After the act of oath of office and inauguration, the Mayor congratulated the new officers and made special mention of the work done with "honesty, dedication, sacrifice, hope and love", as well as the responsibility of being the service of citizens.
Mazarrón City Council through the Department of Public Safety has opted to increased staffing and security for citizens, proof of this is that these new local police will have a total staff of 57 agents.
This represents a threefold increase of troops that existed in the town since 2003.
