This morning, the Councillor for Social Policy, Yolanda Vivancos, has presented the exhibition 'Painters solidarity with Paraguay' and has awarded a grant to build a school in that country.
In the event, held this morning at 11:00 h.
in the Auditorium of the City of Mazarrón, also attended by the Commissioner of the exhibition 'Painters solidarity with Paraguay', Miguel Olmos, and the project coordinator, Maria del Carmen Hidalgo.
The pictorial exhibition, which opens next Friday, November 7 at 21:00 pm
in the hall of the Culture Department will collect the best paintings of the most significant painters of the Region of Murcia and four Paraguayans.
The authors of these works have come together to lend their support and collaboration with this worthy cause.
All those who wish may purchase any of these pictures and contribute to the growth of Paraguay, as it is a much needed country.
This event also took place presented a check for 5,000 euros for the construction of a school in the indigenous communities of South Enxet Villa Hayes Department of the Chaco region of Paraguay.
This will be the second school to the counting area of Paraguay to the City Council of Mazarron, through the Department of Social Policy, responds to its annual grant budget for Economic Cooperation and acceptable economic.
Yolanda Vivancos, who has shown excited with this new charity project, thanked the UNESCO Centre of Murcia that had the City Council for the creation of this new school in Paraguay, and that this action will result in the permanent presence in the Mazarrón country.
In this project, which also involved the Union of Cooperative Education in the Region of Murcia and the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia, the main feature is the integration while respecting their identity and respect for the environment as well as raising funds to undertake new social and health infrastructure and education.
