Opening of the specialization course in criminology 'The figure of the perpetrator' (19/11/2008)

The Councillor of the Presidency, Alicia Jiménez, together with the Vice Chancellor of University Extension, University of Murcia, Francisco Guillermo Díaz Baños, and the Director of the Permanent Headquarters of the University of Murcia, José Luis Mirete Navarro, has launched the "Specialization Course Criminology - The figure of maltrador '.

The Office of University Extension of Mazarrón thanks to an agreement established between the City of Mazarrón and the University of Murcia has organized this course which will run until Friday, November 21 from 19:00 to 21:30 h.

At the first meeting held yesterday afternoon, Doctor of Science intervened Penal and Criminology at the University of Murcia, David Lorenzo Morillas Fernández, with the paper entitled "Personal characteristics and modus operandi of the perpetrator more often."

Among the speakers are also other recognized professionals in criminology such as: Professor of Personality, Evaluation and Psychological Treatment at the University of Murcia, Concepcion Lopez, Doctor of Political Science at the University of Murcia, Antonio Garrido, and the Director of the Center Prison Murcia, Guillermo Miranda.

Some of the topics that this course will also focus on treatment of offenders, the policy regarding domestic violence and the enforcement of punishment of offenders.

Enrolled in this course more than a hundred people among whom are students and graduates, Bodies and State Security Forces, Local Police, Civil Guard, National Police, social workers and people interested in this topic.
