The Town Council of Mazarron, through the Department of Social Policy, has signed an agreement with Caritas Parish Puerto de Mazarrón.
This new service offers a complete Parish Caritas attention to the passer, which includes food, personal hygiene and clothing, and food service bonds.
Social workers in the area, assigned to the various programs and immigrant population groups at risk of social exclusion, will be responsible for overseeing the development of this service and to distribute food stamps.
In turn, these bonds will be distributed on Wednesdays and Fridays from 16:30 to 18:30 h.

Another change is that the laundry service will be Tuesday from 16:30 to 18:30 h.
pm, in the basement of the Parish Center of Puerto de Mazarrón.
The objective of this agreement is to improve the living conditions of people at risk of social exclusion in a more accessible time slot as the evenings and during weekends.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Councillor for Social Policy, Yolanda Vivancos, have overseen the improvement of the facilities after the implementation of the new service.
