This Friday the most actively participated in the closing of the 'sixteenth anniversary of the Center for Puerto de Mazarrón Day', the main event was the awards ceremony of the second Intergenerational Short Story Contest and Drawing "Bridging the years: stories that unite us ".
Councillor for Social Policy, Yolanda Vivancos, did not want to miss this event which has shown once again its support and assistance to the oldest people in the municipality of Mazarrón.
Center Director, Chicano Consuelo Hernández, who has appeared as host of the event, led the participants to read their stories, as well as the projection of the winning drawings.
Thus, participants have enjoyed an encounter between different generations.
The day continued with the expected awards to the winners, made by the Councillor for Social Policy of the City of Mazarrón, Yolanda Vivancos, and the President of the Board of Governors of the Day Centre, Ana Mendez Spain.
After completing the act, all those attending the closing event of the 'sixteenth anniversary of the Day Centre of Puerto de Mazarrón' have enjoyed a snack.
