The Mazarron yesterday celebrated the day of its patron saint, the Virgin of the Immaculate, with many religious events that have continued throughout the entire day.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, has attended the events held to commemorate this special date for all Mazarron in the company of his administration and members of the Municipal Socialist Group.
Mass at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception celebrated by the pastor, Julio Romero, and the vicar, José Antonio Abellán, was the prelude to the main event that took place in the afternoon, the procession with the image of the Patroness of the main streets the municipality.
The procession opened the Drum Band and Bugles of Mazarrón followed by a large group of children, as well as municipal authorities, the elegant "Manolo" and hundreds of Mazarron to bundle with their presence to the patron within and out of the procession during the entire journey.
