Special Governing Board of the City of Mazarrón, on Monday, approved the implementation of various projects with funding from the Local Investment Fund, which the star project is the construction of a modern and spacious Municipal Market in Mazarrón.

The works of adaptation and improvement of accessibility in the avenues and Dr. Tierno Galván Mecca in Puerto de Mazarrón, urbanization Coopers Street in Puerto de Mazarrón, the adequacy of sports courts at the College Ginés García Martínez, with the construction of three paddle tennis courts, a new multi-use trail, a new floor for the current track and a pergola for children, improving the facilities at the sports center of Puerto de Mazarrón Bay, with the construction of two tennis courts and more paddle and the construction of new costumes, new fencing and new access roads, rehabilitation of the offices of the Department of Planning of the City of Mazarrón, paving Narciso Yepes Avenue and Calle La Torre in Puerto de Mazarrón, and urbanization Blackbird Street and the paving of the streets Salvador Dalí, Antonio Machado, Thomas and others in Mazarrón, are works that stand between these projects.

The City Council will proceed to forward them to the Government Commission for final approval.

The total project amount is EUR 5,772,649.
