On Friday, January 23, the students of Secondary School held a 'charity market' throughout the day to raise charitable funds for an education project in Mozambique.
This activity is framed in the celebration of St. Thomas Aquinas and St. John Bosco, takes place for the fourth consecutive year thanks to the collaboration of the entire educational community: teachers, students and the Association of Parents and individuals , local authorities and businesses in the municipality.
The 'Solidarity Market' has become one of the most important events of this school in which pupils and students show its most committed to society.
A donation of objects in addition making jewelry, brooches, bookmarks, among others, the pupils of Secondary School Sunday Valdivieso.
In this issue proceeds will go towards the provision of two classrooms, Library Education Project developed by the NGOs for Development Cooperation to the Franciscan Sisters are in Matola (Mozambique).
The activity, in which the City has contributed their bit by donating several copies of local issues, is open to the participation of all people outside the educational community who also want to work with this act of solidarity.
