The town of Mazarron has a full service social-health emergencies that guarantees citizens the prompt action in urgent needs of citizens.
According to a report by the Civil Protection Department of the City of Mazarrón, Emergency Services through 112 have intervened in 9,390 cases in 2008.
These data broken out among the demands of citizens: 2,945 calls to local police, 2,886 calls for ambulance requests, 1,971 calls for Municipal Emergency Services and other 1,009 calls to manage multiple, 429 for fire calls and 150 calls for medical .
Another significant data emerging from this study is that the most-requested during the summer, in particular, the months of July and August has been the request for ambulance.
Mazarrón City Council through the Civil Protection Department is working towards coordination of all these services with the aim of improving care for urgent public.
