The municipality of Mazarrón is ready to live the Carnival 2009 whose actions will start this Saturday, February 21 and will last until Tuesday, February 24.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Councillor for Fiestas, Luisa María Heredia, presented this morning by the original poster and the 2009 Carnival varied program intended to satisfy everyone.
The most striking feature is the significant participation planned for the Carnival Parade on Sunday, Feb. 22, with enrollment of more than twenty clubs, as it provides the most massive act of two thousand people marching through the main roads locally, from the Public School The Aceña to Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
On Saturday afternoon expected to take place Carnival Proclamation 2009, the election muso muse and child, with a great feast of entertainment for children with lots of games and dances.
In the evening will be the turn for the elderly, will celebrate the spectacular election of the muse and the muse youth and the appointment of the image carnival 2009.

Saturday 21 February:
17.00: Choosing a child Muso Musa and 2009 and costume party for all children.

21.00: Publication of the Carnival 2009, Election of Musa and the Muso youth and appointment of Image Carnival 2009.

Sunday 22 February:
16.00: Grand Carnival parade.
Departure from the Colegio La Aceña with the following schedule: C / La Vía, Constitution Avenue and C / Alfonso X the Wise to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
The party will continue in the Carnival Tent.
Monday 23 February:
16:30 pm: Children's Party, with workshops and activities, the end of lunch for all children.
21:00: Theatre performance of "Don Carnal and Doña Cuaresma" by the students of IES Sunday Valdivieso.
22.30: Grand Masquerade Ball with crook gift from the bars.
Comparsa Award of the Night (minimum 6 persons), upon registration in the bars.

22:00: Awards to the winners and burning rocks Don Carnal.
