This weekend, the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Councillor of Culture, Alicia Jiménez, presented with the President of the Cabildo of guilds, Ginés Campos, news of Easter 2009.

This initial act of Holy Week has also been embraced by the leading representatives of all the guilds of Mazarrón and Puerto.

The first act of Holy Week will be held on March 15 because of the Regional Day of the Nazarene in Mazarrón to attend the event which nearly a thousand people from different Brotherhoods of the entire region and from other nearby provinces.

The poster and magazine Easter this year, which will promote these religious and cultural image viewed as principal of the passage of Nuestro Padre Jesus.

The Town Crier of Mazarrón Easter is Andrés Manuel Acosta Mendez, who has been chosen by the guilds of Mazarrón Town Council unanimously for his outstanding contribution and active participation in the Easter of Mazarrón.
