A group of ten members of the British Association of Mazarrón PALS recently visited the Centre for Emergency Coordination 112 of the Region of Murcia.
This visit, the result of interest generated by this group, has been sheltered by the Councillor for Civil Protection of the City of Mazarrón, Jacqueline Galvez, the Director General of Emergency, Luis Gestoso, and the Director of the Centre, Diego del Rey.
In this course, participants learn about the operation of this regional service, and the different locations that are doctors and patients of 061, the Red Cross, the position of Forest Fire Management and Civil Protection.
The deployment of 112 Murcia has been a very important step to achieve the goal of creating an integrated public safety emergencies and offers citizens a coordinated and effective response to demands for assistance from the competent public services.
