Maestro Antonio Institute of Puerto de Mazarrón Hellín recently celebrated the Intercultural Seminar with the participation of more than four hundred people.
This is the third year that this conference was held, addressed to all members of the educational community, which has accommodated both students, teachers, parents and guardians.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, together with the Councillor for Education and Social Policy, and Yolanda Concepcion Ballesta Vivancos, has also seen the development of this activity in which the common denominator has been to contribute to the social integration of students .
This learning center has 23 different nationalities.
These figures are what have led teachers to create these days of integration between students and teachers to bring education to the customs of other countries.
During these days we have developed different activities that have involved a large number of heterogeneous public.
Some of these have been the international breakfast, presentations on fair trade and volunteering.
They have also been very successful convening specialized workshops such as beads, the braids African t-shirt painting, recycling, soap, break-dance and belly dancing, which offered participants the opportunity to interact among themselves and very interesting to learn aspects of other cultures.
This event is organized by the departments of Counseling and School Activities of Secondary School Teacher Antonio Hellín of Puerto de Mazarrón in collaboration with Tawasur and Lumbar.
