The Training and Employment Department of the City of Mazarrón advises employers on the Columbus Project which was founded with the aim of exchanging experience between young entrepreneurs from different countries of Europe.

The project offers entrepreneurs in the Region of Murcia the opportunity to train and / or work with an experienced entrepreneur in another European Union country for a period of three months.

Also, interested persons may complete their training through knowledge management and creation of SME entrepreneur with experience in the industry offered in the host country.

The project is nourished by entrepreneurs who wish to travel to another country in Europe and Spanish companies interested in hosting for a maximum period of three months for European entrepreneurs who come to Spain.

Companies and entrepreneurs who want to join Mazarrón this project should contact the Department of Training and Employment, through the Local Employment Center for youth.

Eurodyssey Program

The Consistory, through the Department of Employment and Training Program Unveils Eurodyssey whereby companies and public or private entities that request it may select and recruit young European workers without imposing an additional cost to the organization.

This initiative will provide new experiences and a stronger European market.

The Institute for Youth grant aid of 1,200 euros per month, for a maximum of five, to be allocated entirely to labor costs as wages and social security.

The company will select and determine, after seeing the profile of candidates interested in the job offered (CV and letter of applicant) if it fits or not the needs of the company.

The duration of the professional practices of these young people will be more than five months, during which the company or organization can enjoy the benefits of having a young, skilled, trained and have extensive knowledge of languages.
