The Ministry of Public Works and Planning, through the Institute for Housing and Land in the Region of Murcia (IVS) has announced the tender for a plot of 3,282 square meters located in the municipality of Mazarrón in the Autonomous Community carry out the construction of a promotion of 18 public housing regardless of age or under the sale, within the Regional Housing Plan, as stated in the Order published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia March 10.

The project includes a housing adapted for disabled people, under the agreement that the Ministry of Public Works and Planning signed with the Federation of the Physically Handicapped Murcia (Famdif), the Association of Paraplegics and Physically Handicapped of the Great Community of Murcia (Aspaym) and the Association of Real Estate in the Region of Murcia, to facilitate access for the disabled to social housing.
The managing director of the Institute of Housing and Lands, Jane Brown, explained that it will build "duplex houses, whose floor space ranging from 70 to 90 square meters.

In addition, the project includes several areas reserved for parks, playgrounds and common areas.
Allocation of housing
Joan Brown recalled that the houses will be awarded by lottery before a notary, after appropriate public notice, which shall contain the location of the properties subject of the drawing, the number offered, the regime of sale, price, time of filing and conditions, quotas and other features that concur in the promotion.
To enter the draw, those interested should register in advance in the Register of Claimants of the Directorate General of Housing and Architecture in the Region of Murcia, through one-stop accommodation, or at the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Works Housing and Transport (in Plaza Santoña, 6, Murcia).
