The municipality of Mazarrón is finalizing the details for what will be Easter 2009.
This weekend took place on Easter Proclamation of Mazarrón 2009 at the Shrine of the Immaculate, read by the Mazarron Andrés Manuel Acosta, who has been elected unanimously by his contribution to these acts.
The event began with a presentation of the church choir followed by the President of the Cabildo of guilds, Ginés Campos, who mentioned the importance acquired every year during Holy Week of the municipality, the result of the hard work of the existing guilds.
Also, Campillo gave way to the Town Crier that this year, who gave a brilliant and moving speech, which highlighted the significance and meaning it has for himself and his family the arrival of Easter.
Your active participation and contribution throughout his life have been the reason why this year has been chosen by the council of guilds to show off this unique task that has more than fulfilled.

Similarly, Jiménez commended the Town Crier for his heartfelt speech and named the Nazarene of the Year this year whose recognition was awarded to Francisco Dávila López.
Both belong to the Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus and faithful followers of the local Easter.
The priest of Mazarrón, Julio Romero, also addressed to all participants in which stressed the importance of involving these days of Christianity.
The event, which was also attended by the mayors of Finance, Second Muñoz, Urban, José Antonio Román, Personal, Miguel Ballesta, Civil Protection, Jacqueline Galvez, and Youth, Francisco Antonio Raja, and representatives of the Brotherhoods of the municipality culminated with the melodies of the church choir.
Short Story Lenten failure
At the same event also saw the awarding of the Short Story Lent by the Director of the Universidad Popular, José María López Ballesta.
This year the winners of this literary contest Easter are: Firstly Concepcion Perez, Luis Paredes second and third Magdalena Vivancos.
