The Mazarron today marks the International Day of Children's and Youth with the reading of a manifesto by the City Council Education and Children, Concepción Ballesta, in the Hall of the Town Hall.
The celebration of this day so emblematic has its origin in the birth of writer Hans Christian Andersen, on 2 April 1805.
The day continued in the schools with the distribution of books to students enrolled in first and sixth of Primary Education.
This afternoon the school may attend storytelling sessions: one will be at 17:00
Public Library of Mazarrón and the other at 18:00 h.

The agenda of activities, set in the Book of the Month program will continue on Wednesday, April 15, with two new sessions of storytelling, this time directed the grandparents with their grandchildren, to be held in Mazarrón Day Centres and Puerto de Mazarrón.
On Thursday, April 23, to celebrate World Book Day will take place at 11:00 h.
The Competition awards 'Keep your story' in the assembly hall of the town hall of Mazarrón.
This innovative program, which is organized by the Department of Education and Children of the City of Mazarrón, aims primarily to promote reading among the young and young of the municipality.
