The regional government has approved the procurement of the refurbishment work on the track and road safety improvements on the road RM-D4, which links to the hamlet Mazarrón Lorca Morata, between mile markers 12.2 and 14.2, for a amount of 1,380,269 euros.
Through this action by the Ministry of Public Works and Planning, will be improved by relaxing the radio path of the most dangerous corners of the tranche to minimize the risk of accidents.
Also, the platform will be extended to nine meters and additions to improve road, drainage, signage and marking to get a safer path.
RM-D4 road joins the road Mazarrón RM-D8 going to Lorca.
It is a road that connects diverse populations as Leiva, La Atalaya and Morata and along which more than 600,000 vehicles a year, largely used by farmers in the area.
